Website and Product Design for Dx – AI Search Engine for Doctors
DISCLAIMER: This case study showcases the design progress of Dx's MVP as of December 2024. Please note that this product has not yet launched globally and continues to evolve daily in terms of UI/UX and functionality. I will make an effort to update this page in Q4 2025 to reflect the latest developments.
Dx is a revolutionary AI-powered platform that supports doctors in making accurate diagnoses and clinical decisions. My role encompassed both product and website UI design, including creating custom illustrations, JSON animations, styles library and crafting intuitive interfaces. The goal was to deliver a cohesive user experience that highlighted Dx’s capabilities while seamlessly integrating into doctors' workflows.
Below is an overview of its core product modules as we completed within 10 months.
Prime is an AI-powered search engine designed for healthcare professionals who need fast, credible information. Access trusted medical literature seamlessly, similar to how you would use a search engine like Google or Bing, but with the depth of PubMed. An AI-powered tool built specifically for medical professionals engaged in research. By adhering to industry best practices it offers a simplified yet powerful interface that distills complex studies into accessible insights. With the robust foundation of PubMed, Dx Research ensures that your clinical research is both thorough and easy to navigate.
Your central hub for trusted medical guidelines. Find, compare, and engage with credible clinical guidelines from around the world, designed to help you learn faster and make informed decisions.
Bulletproof your diagnostic proces. Dx Diagnostics captures critical information, guides you through key investigations, and helps you build a comprehensive management plan.
Product Design
UI/UX Design: Played a role in defining the UI and aesthetic elements of the project, including the Dx logo, color schemes, font styles library, and overall microinteractions.
GIF & JSON Animations and Microinteractions: Developed lightweight animations to enhance user interaction, such as "Thinking" and "Loader" states, dynamically reflecting system activity.
Website Design
Created an engaging Hero section featuring interactive animations to showcase Dx’s functionality.
Designed visually appealing module product pages with interactive animations to highlight key features.
Crafted sections showcasing the product's benefits, enhanced with JSON animations for interactivity.
Ensured a responsive design optimized for seamless experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Above are the selected JSON animations I created within days. More than 15 JSON animations have been made for the Dx project.
Dx bridges the gap between human expertise and AI-driven precision. Each module has been meticulously designed to address specific challenges faced by healthcare professionals, ensuring better patient outcomes while simplifying complex processes.
In this module, I’ve gained a lot learning experience in areas beyond my usual expertise, such as motion design, creating JSON animations, and crafting micro-interactions—all while working under tight timelines. This learning process has been instrumental in allowing me to take on an important role in this project, ensuring that Dx stands out as the most visually appealing product compared to its competitors.
